The Story of Kula Roses
I love what I do.
Aloha
I am blessed to have been born and raised in upcountry Maui, Kula, Hawaii on my Grandparents farm to be exact. Being able to wake up to the fresh morning air, cascading fields of fresh flowers, fruits and vegetables, many of which are only native to Hawaii, makes every day great.

This has given me the opportunity to learn, teach and respect family traditions, that have been past down from many generations, and to embrace all things in nature.

I consider myself lucky to love every aspect of my colorful world. Being able to share my favorite parts of being Hawaiian, and spreading Aloha in many forms as a hula dancer and flower farmer is what gives my life meaning.
As a hula dancer and Hawaiian arts practitioner, I have learned to be resourceful, care for and live of the ‘aina (land). I take pride in using a lot of native Hawaiian plants and materials in my lei making and other hana noʻeau (arts). I use local flowers grown at my own home, fresh from our farm, to your loved one.

My work is divided between making lei and floral arrangements, collaborating on special events such as weddings and graduations, teaching the art of lei making, tending to our fruit and flower farms, as well as styling photoshoots, and last but not least, spreading the art of Hula to my students.

Please follow my portfolio on Instagram @KulaRoses as well as see upcoming events.

Sharing the gift of aloha, one rose at a time.
Mahalo,
